The applet manager isn't as user-friendly as the one in Cinnamon but other than that the Xfce panel is my favourite panel. I use two panels. One of them as a dock - looks a bit like the dock in Unity.

Awesome! A powerful panel, great functionality, you can choose many useful plugins, or/and use it as a dock (applications launcher), it even can launches Mintmenu...
