I like how one of the options is to show a pop up message, and that you can run your own commands. xfce is great 2021!

Let's me know when to go downstairs and get my pizza out of the oven! For the guy mentioning no sound, configure the alarm to be "yourmusicplayer /path/to/an/audio.file" and it will pop up and play you a tune at the alarm.

xfce is great
