YAGF is a graphical interface for cuneiform and tesseract text recognition tools on the Linux platform. With YAGF you can scan images via XSane, import pages from PDF documents, perform images preprocessing and recognize texts using cuneiform from a single command centre. YAGF also makes it easy to scan and recognize several images sequentially.

does NOT work with a pdf-file - program crashes for a few seconds after start pdf opening, without feedback

Не работает. Вылетает и при открытии изображения, и при вставке из буфера обмена.

Still crashes with LMC18.1. OCRFeeder works reasonably well though (starting via Terminal).

yagf is for me the easiest way to use the very reliable cuneiform ocr engine. It works good for me, but it lacks some functionality which another famous, but proprietary russian ocr suite provides. I'd like to see some more development...
