This is not a complete tutorial. i have a RT2870 chipset on my tp-link727N
under linux mint doesnt work automatically only on other debian based system

if you use live-usb , then you must do it again after installation.

this link worked for me., non of all blacklist, when i search some of people advice to blacklist..., its not an issue that disorder other drivers., i dont blacklist :) on ubuntu isn´t out of the box... from a ubuntu or a derivate you expect out-of-the box....... not that you must buy new hardware ...
