Subdownloader is a great soft to download subtitles of films, in a large choice of langages, in an automatic way. You can download a lot of subs at once. Downloading all subs for your favorite show only takes 1 min.

  You can even use it with the command line and thus put it in your scripts.

   The problem is, we can't find it in lmde's repositories, though it is a debian package. (and a minor pb is the dl page of the official website gives an error)

   Fortunately, the installation procedure is very easy.

1. download the .deb you'll find on launchpad :

https://launchpad.net/subdownloader

2. double clic, it's done !

It worked on my lmde with update pack 5.
