On install of Mint Isadora 9 my wireless connection did not work.  I looked around for advice and downloaded 100Mb of drivers and files to no avail.

I looked further and found the Control Centre and selected Hardware Drivers.  The system immediately detected the WiFi drivers needed for my Broadcom system and installed them with a couple of clicks.  A reboot and the wireless light was on.  I set the connections details and password and bingo - SO easy!
