Before Saving A Libre Office Calc file, system gives you option to save it either in default ODS or Microsoft Excel file format. If accidently you bypass the option then you loose the compatibility. To get rid of this and to stay relax please follow below mentioned steps.
You will get a dialogue box like this.
By doing this, you need not explicitly select the file type before saving. Next time onwards when ever you
save a file it will get saved in the format set under Tools --> Options --> Load / Save --> General.
Happy Saving
thanks, very helpful for multi system users
This is not a tutorial or even relative to linux, it is simply an application user setting.
Short, but a solution to a problem many users have.
