Running SiteSpinner in Linux Mint

Most of my web site has been done on Linux Mint for a year or two.  It took a while to find the missing parts to get the text working.

It runs in WINE. Additional DLL have to be installed.

1. Install WINE and WINETRICKS

2. Open winetricks

3. Select default wineprefix

4. Select install WinDLL

5. Select MSL31 RICH20 RICH30 RICHTX32 VB6RUN VCRUN2005

Note:  It is a long time since I had to add those DLLs.  Those DLLs I have listed are the ones that get SS going for me and are all the DLLs on my list. I doubt it will hurt to add them.

It is good to install ttf mscorefonts, found in software manager.

Good luck.  I would enjoy feedback too.

Redo! It's confusing and more seems like a list of things for you to remember.

Oh dear - I am assuming you have installed SiteSpinner of course, using WINE to handle the exe file.
