As you should know, Chromium allows using the address bar also as a search engine.

It happens that the default language of google search engine is that one of the country where you have installed chromium. For instance, if you are in Germany you could find in "Preferences-> Basics-> Default search (manage)" google.de as default search engine. So that if you write down in the address bar of the browser some keywords to be researched, the preferred search language will be German and, therefore, German webpages will be shown as first.

You may prefer google.com as default search engine to perform your research in English. In this case you should go to "Preferences-> Basics-> Default search (manage)", click on "Add..." and set up the text fields as follows:

- Name: Google COM

- Keyword: google.com

- URL: http://www.google.com/search?q=%s

Save and set the new search engine as default.

<meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="content-type" />

I hope that this can help, cause I spent a while to find such solution on the web.

<meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="content-type" />
