For some reasons, burning ISOs with conventional software sometimes fail to make them bootable, making Mint installation impossible.

ISO Recorder prooved to be a good solution for me :

Download and install ISO Recorder.

Once the installation is completed, right-click on the ISO file, and choose "Copy Image to CD/DVD".

Windows explorer contextual menu

Follow the directions to start the burning process (this is quite straightforward!).

Hope this will help other users.

@blueXrider : and what if you don't have 7 ?

I tried several solutions and this one was ok with Mint bootable ISOs.

You do not need additional software to be able to burn .ISO's in Windows 7. Burning software is included you just have to understand how to use it.
