Hello there,

Here a fix whenever de addition drivers of virtualbox are not able to work properly on your system.

I personally solved the resolution problem with this ! Afther this is was able to go 1920 x 1080.

After a while a found this hint on the internet to use to X11 drivers from the repository, and solved te problem.

This is what you do:

Step 1:

Open The Terminal.

Step 2:

Type in the following: $ sudo apt-get install virtualbox-ose-guest-x11

Step 3: Enter the root credentials. Follow instructions as folowed.

Step 4: Reboot the system.

Step 5: Enjoy big resolution !

(If you are unable to find the resolution menu in mint11 you must install it first!)
