Hello Together,
as Newbie with Mint I started installing MINT Lisa with unconnected 2nd HDD containing Windows 7.
I was testing several Distributions that way and finally decided for Mint Lisa.
But, as Newbie - like probably some others, i was brought to the goal to include my previous Windows 7 Installation into the GRUB-Menu at the end. It was not easy to find the solution in the net, but here on tutorials i found the way. As this was about removing other installations i will shortly describe how i included my Windows 7 Partition:
Just connected the HDD including Windows 7 and started Mint Lisa.
Then i followed the hint in the mentioned Tutorial, so starting a Terminal and using sudo update-grub automatically included my 2nd HDDs Windows 7 into the GRUB-Boot-Menu.
That easy it can go.
