Lenovo S9 - replaced 60Gb HDD with Samsung 128Gb SSD and Installed Mint as the sole OS runs fine but does not see all of its RAM probably due to bios.

HP Compaq nw 9440 Workstation laptop - replace 80Gb HDD with Samsung 128Gb SSD increased RAM to 4Gb . Mirrored XP Pro to SSD then installed Mint Rebecca to keep older XP CAD programs I cannot afford to replace.
