New to Linux after XP went south...

Installed LM17 Cinnamon but kept freezing my laptop.

Was informed (on HexChat) the cause was the integrated Radeon chipset/graphics, and to use MATE instead.

So here I am...running LM17 Mate on x64 HP 8510p laptop.

Very much a 'noob' to Linux!

Let the fun and learning begin!!
