Born in S. Cali, raised from 3 years of age in Corvallis, Oregon. Enjoyed athletics and science a lot. Aspired to be a chemist, then a geologist, oceanographer, physicists/astronomer... built telescopes and saw all the messier objects save a few obscure open clusters in HS, but also enjoyed building things. And did a couple telescopes I used there. Photography became an interest also as I built darkroom gear. I also began seeking a relationship with my creator at a young age which gave me a different dimension of interest I think...
And at Oregon State I started in physics but graduated in Science Ed. I subbed some but eventually took a job at U of Oregon in molecular biology where I worked til '93. It was there I got into wring some shell programs in Unix and C code. I need to refresh my mind on it all now. I also became the first internet evangelist using the Unix system there on lunch breaks. Henry Spencer didn't take a liking to my work and in fact posted "I spew thee off the usenet" in response to me asking a guy what I could hypothetically give him that would serve as good/solid evidence for the resurrection. lol. Sensitive fellow.
And mysteriously only a cross post to sci.research remained as evidence in the archives of newsgroups that I was even there. haha. All the threads I participated in were deemed unwanted in the archives I've seen anyway. I'd love to see all that stuff again.
I delved into music production in the later 80's and continue as Sound Doctorin' today while challenging people on facebook etc. I repair a lot of old synthesizers and other music gear and am producing some products in that realm.
