Back in 2011 I when I was just getting started with regular Linux use I started with Ubuntu. After a short time, in early 2012, I fell in love with a girl named Maya. After a while I began to dilly-dally with other distros (primarily Xubuntu and Ubuntu MATE). I was impressed with LMDE after playing with it previously, but at the time I still wanted the Ubuntu base for the sake of the nvidia-prime package. Eventually I installed a dual-boot with straight Debian and I became more interested in getting rid of the Ubuntu part of my Linuxing. After some soul-searching and deliberation (plus prime support now being included in Mint), I'm happily living with a girl named Rafaela!
