* I am a fully upgraded Amateur Extra class license holder
* Active volunteer examiner for the Anchorage, ARRL, Laurel and W5YI VEC
* Deeply committed in teaching amateur radio courses for those who want to get into the hobby
* Very active on HF and Echolink
* Active in digital modes and CW (SKCC #14229)
* Enjoy working satellites which can be very fun

* Satellite Installer and Field Support Specialist for DBS/DSS, FTA (free-to-air), satellite internet and satellite telephone
* Over-the-air (OTA) antennas (I install many of them surprisingly)
* Low-power, license free radio broadcast transmitters (mostly AM)
==> Also includes broadcast engineering of all types
* Aviation, land and marine radio technician
* Sound system installer and technician
My hobbies and main interests:
* Playing on the radio (of course)
* Building electronics
* I love to build transmitters and transistor radios for AM/SW reception
* Computers
* I spend a fair bit of time chatting with friends on IRC (i.e. AlaskaNet IRC)
* Love the outdoors
* Enjoy hunting
* Enjoy fishing
* Enjoy cutting firewood (can’t possibly figure out why)
* Love wintertime (I don’t like extreme heat, nor am I a sun worshipper; simply can’t deal with it)
* Love to travel
* Enjoy woodworking (very therapeutic)
