Came to Linux Mint by accident while googeling my daughters name which is the name of an old LM release.

Became curious and installed it parallel to Win7 and was deeply impressed about it's completeness and perfect integrated SW components. It was mindblowing for me!

Now (2017, 4 years later) I fully switched my family to Linux Mint (Cinnamon) and erased the malicious stuff from Microsoft.

Linux Mint is a very important in my life to understand what open source, free and comunity driven Software means.

Please go ahead with this course, well done!

work.openpaper.Paperwork
"Using paperwork since 2019 on Linux Mint Cinnamon. Theoretically it is nice, but in real life looks different. For Mint 22.x it is not available in the sources anymore. In Mint 22.3 Cinnamon Flatpak (V2.2.5) throws an errormessage by opening "Settings" - in a window, which is not operable - and does not recognise my scanner (carefully followed the given instructions to connect USB scanner). My scanner works fine with "Document scanner. This is not the first time, the scanner support is broken and also lots of other problems/ crashes sporadically happened in the past. I'm looking for an alternative now, as Paperwork - unfortunately - is too unreliable for daily usage. Currently I'm testing the Appimage - version 2.2.5 it is working, last version directly crashed at startup and was unusable as well. Appimage lacks OCR language support other than english...empty drop down list to select."

"This app has so many limitations that is is practically unusable. I don't knw where to start - is it the ridiculous resolution of the satellite images or the not localizable naming of the OSM? Is ist the very low adaption for users e.g sorting o/ deleting of maps not posible? Is it the unsreadable description due to yellow color on grey background? Who shall be the intended user of this application?"
