Newbie Linux user. I have never been a big fan of Windows for many reasons and I have been actively avoiding using it for my main machine. I purchased a MacBook Pro in 2013 and used it as my main system for about 6 years. Mac OS (mainly the more recent iterations, High Sierra and especially the Mojave beta) made my computer so slow that it was affecting my work. I decided to use Linux Mint and haven't looked back. I more recently built a custom PC and installed Linux Mint on that machine as well. I'm looking to take part in the Linux Mint community and learn more about Linux and computers in general.
