com.eduke32.EDuke32 "Once you install it you MUST have a valid copy of duke3d.grp in the games data folder or you will get an error. The game data folder to copy it in is ~/.var/app/com.eduke32.EDuke32/.config/eduke32/ or at least it was on my system running Linux Mint 20 with the Mate desktop. I had the file name in all caps but some instructions I found said to rename it all lower case so if one doesn't work try the other :) After that though the game worked fine." |

quake2 "If you are running Linux Mint 19.3 as the other user was... you will need to follow the directions on screen. It helps if you already have a full copy of the game to play all the levels. Otherwise it will only do the shareware levels. I got it working with only a bit of extra work. Honestly... if you use Linux you got to expect a bit of extra command like work some times." |
