Worked in computer-related aspects of the Military, Banking, Brokerage, Health Care, and Entertainment industries (1959-2018) IBM 1401 to IBM 390, CDC 3600-6600, PDP 8/10/11, PC's from Microsoft DOS to Windows 11. Looked at Linux this year to replace the operating systems for my aging laptop. and desktop. Looked at and tested 4 different Linux Distributions before choosing Mint. Seems to be a perfect solution for all of my cloud applications.
