apfs-dkms
"I installed on Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon with kernel 6.8.0-62 generic. The install proceeded just fine and after it completed I was able to plug in my portable SSD which a relative with a Mac had given me with photos on it (formatted in the APFS file system). Upon plugging in I got the normal icon on the desktop like a portable drive and I was able to use the Nemo file browser to browse the files on the drive. I was able to open and view a photo. I did not try any write access as that is not important to me. When I tried to use the normal eject function the system indicated that it was unable to unmount the device and the icon stayed on the desktop. After I rebooted the computer the icon on the desktop was gone. The command "apt version apfs-dkms" gave me "0.3.2-0ubuntu6" which seems quite old as the project itself is now on version 0.3.14 - so perhaps compiling it would be a better option."
