"Pretty solid emoji picker. The default key combinations come in handy once you get used to them. Would be great if Symbols could be added as well like degree sign, etc., even just manually imported by the users. For anyone trying to use the Win (or Super) key to trigger it like it's done in Windows (or KDE apparently), you'll need to double press the key combo to launch the emoji picker. This will cause the secondary key (like . or whatever else you are using) to input that character in the text field in certain apps like ZapZap. Key combinations that do not use the Win / Super keys work without this issue. Unfortunately this behavior persists using different tools as well like CopyQ or Diodon if you use the Win / Super key. Probably Mint registers this keystroke differently. Alternatively, you can set up a Custom Shortcut in Keyboard settings, this will launch the emoji picker after pressing the combo once but will be a lot slower as stated by developer in the apps' description."
