onboard "Since Linux Mint Cinnamon 20 is no longer being updated, I naturally migrated to version 22. However, I am encountering the following problems with Onboard: 1. There is a button at the bottom right of Onboard that allows you to enable and disable the hover click. When the feature is enabled in Linux Mint Cinnamon 20, the button turns red. You simply click it again to disable hover click. The button then returns to its original color to indicate that hover click is disabled. In Linux Mint Cinnamon 22, clicking on the button does activate hover click. However, the button does not turn red, and hover click can no longer be disabled by clicking on it. The only way to disable hover click is to go to LM Menu => System Settings => Accessibility => Mouse => Hover Click. Tedious! 2. Onboard has buttons to simulate secondary clicks and double-clicks. Unlike in Linux Mint Cinnamon 20, in Linux Mint Cinnamon 22 these buttons only work when hover click is disabled. In Linux Mint Cinnamon 22, when hover click is enabled, Onboard simulation buttons no longer work. A small external window with these functions appears, and you have to go through this window to use them. Not logical! Thank you very much for any information that would allow me to restore the proper functioning of the Onboard." |
