I had a teacher once who introduced me to linux, which during that day was all done in terminal. It was great and had my share of running our ISP's server (under linux), then after a while, my interest took me into the hardware stuff and forgot all about linux, as it was when everything runs on windows. Then a couple of years ago, a friend of mine gave me his copy of ubuntu, start tinkering with it and I was surprise how linux came to be. Since that day, i never stopped trying every version that came out (ubuntu, specifically). A few days ago I was reading an article and came across about linux mint. I downloaded "katya", installed it. I was so amazed by it that I replaced oneiric ocelot with mint 11. so far, this is the best for me.
