I was born in Kolkata, India in 1947. Now I live in Singapore. I trained as a marine engineer. I started using Ubuntu in Dec 2010 (Lucid Lynx).

I switched to Linux Mint Maya (Mate). Now I have a laptop (Dell XPS 14Z) and a Asus Desktop (self-made) on Linux Mint Qiana.

I expect to retire soon. Then I should be full time on Linux!

I am indebted to the Linux community for all the software and their kind tutorials. So, I need to give back to the community eventually.

That's my aim!
