Itinerant IT guy approaching retirement.  Been earning a living from IT since 1978, first on Commodore Pet & CP/M machines, then MS-DOS/Windows desktops.

Looking to ditch Micro$oft and convert entirely to Linux on retirement - been playing with Linux Mint for a while and love it but I'm still a newbie as far as expertise is concerned.

Recently resurrected a Samsung NC10 using Mint Petra Xfce with total success and am delighted with it.  Still running Mint Isadora as a secondary OS on a Windows 7 desktop.
