I first tried to install debian in the '90s and after several years eventually gave up trying to have a useable system.

I now have Linux Mint Debian 12 and Linux Mint KDE 12 on separate drives on one computer

and Linux Mint Main Edition 12 and Windows XP on separate drives on another computer. Debian, as a semi-rolling distro.

is supposed to be my main computer, acting as a server for the others, but debian 12 has a problem installing printers,

so I have to use the other distros for printing.
