Computer and software experience since 1964 (IBM 1620 Model II-D): at least five different assembly languages, eight FORTRAN dialects, four BASIC dialects (including shur-nuff Dartmouth BASIC -- by Model 33 KSR Teletype on a GE timeshare link), K&R and two other C dialects, perl, bash and several other systems scripting languages (including sendmail), Python and Lotus 123-type spreadsheet scripting. SuSE Linux 5.1 through 8 and OpenSUSE 12, Ubuntu Linux 8.04 through 12.04, Mint Maya and Nadia, as well as seven or more pre-*n*x operating systems.

Built four "personal" computers from components, bare boards and empty chassis and used them in simple business applications. Used at least eleven different mini- and main-frame computer models and a number of varities of PC's ranging from SWTP and first-generation IBM PC's to current generation quad-core systems.
