I've been using Linux off and on for years. I'm disgusted with the way the software world is moving in general. Windows is just A W F U L.
So I initially installed LMDE at home on my Dell desktop back in August 2013. I like Mint very much. It's fast as the devil and a nicely done release, complete with LibreOffice, Banshee etc. All the apps you need for a complete system.
As I learned more about Linux (and that my my system supports it as well) I moved from the 32-bit version to 64-bit around March 2014. LMDE 201403 is great.
Now running multiple OS-es as well. KDE 17, Cinnamon 17 and Debian 7.6.0
