At 81 I was not expecting another learning curve lol. I think it time I had a serious look at an alternative to Windows Os's.

As a long-retired systems analyst and systems designer on mainframes, even the change to Windows 95 was quite strange , especially as my first PC was one inherited from one of my daughters when it stopped functioning. I found the problem to be a bad hard drive, so replace dthe 2 Gb drive with a 10 Gb drive although win 95 only supported 2 Gb.

My current Pc, specified and partly built by myself is:

64 bit Asus based PC at present running Win 7 SP1 -(64 Bit)
12 GB RAM, 4 x Intel i7 CPU's giving 8 usable CPU's @ 3.33GHz (NOT OVERCLOCKED)
Now using Plantronics Audio 628. sound system. 4 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 Display adaptors (Graphics cards).
