I am a Ubuntu user, trying out Mint.  I'm not exactly a newbe, but I'm not a coder either.  I love Linux as it is easy to use and best of all free.  Over the years, I have come to dislike Microsoft intensly for it's crappy treatment of it's customers and it's multitude of problems.
