Description:

Eagle includes a layout editor, schematic editor, and an autorouter. the following limitations apply to the eagle light edition: the usable board area is limited to 100 x 80 mm (4 x 3.2 inches). only two signal layers can be used (top and bottom). the schematic editor can only create one sheet.

4 I use it to build projects for the Raspberry PI. Very good overall. Bit clunky inplaces but certainly one of the best PCB apps around

5 unfortunately nothing comparable available in FOSS. At the low price not a big deal and it never let me down in the past 20 years

5 Eagle is kind of unintuitive but has good linux support, lots of libraries and is probably the "no.1" program for electronic hobbyists.

5 EAGLE is such a wonderful program for the electronic hobbyist that enjoys designing/making their own PCBs. Not to mention, it runs on multiple OSs, so no matter what system I am at, I can open my designs. I LOVE EAGLE!!
