Description:

Gdebi lets you install local deb packages resolving and installing its dependencies. apt does the same, but only for remote (http, ftp) located packages.

this package contains the graphical user interface.

4 I'm not sure if any other deb installers exist, but when the stock Linux Mint one was accidentally removed, I installed this and it works great, so yay! Great tool, and an excellent replacement. Then again, this might just be the stock one...
