Got in touch with SuSE in the late 80th at the university while learning working with HP-UX. After that I changed to MS-DOS and Windows 3.0.

Selfemployed IT technician for 20 years. Knowing Windows well from 3.11 over 9x, NT, 2000, XP and 7, waiting for Windows X now, basics in MacOS and Android. I tested several Linux distributions esp. SuSE and Debian and its Ubuntu based forks.

Since April 2015 my server runs with CentOS 7 and my workstation is Linux Mint 17.1 xfce 32bit powered. So I'm not a newbie but still have to learn a lot.
