Amarok comes with a lot of features including but not limited to:

1 Куча всякой ерунды напихали, а проигрывать папки не умеет - нужно обязательно составлять плейлист. Снес его после того как начал падать от количества добавленных файлов и поставил Audacious. Юзабельность и скорость работы сразу ощущаются. Я даже не стал разбираться и твикать Амарок.

4 It's good! but not the ultimate audio player (in my opinion, iTunes). Although Amarok it's better than Banshee and a lot better than Rhythmbox it has a long way to go to be one of the best aydioplayers out there! It lucks an audiobook library (I believe that's it's biggest disadvantage), a cover grid unless you compile it yourself, if you know how, (the developers claim that apple has the rights for such a feature but banshee has one) and it places the albums in descending chronological order (from what i read in a forum the developers dont see that as a problem and they won't fix it). Someone please say to this guys that linux are counting on them for a good library audioplayer...

3 The only problem I have with Amarok is the auto update for the library(meaning it isn't there) plus removing songs from the player library that are not on the system anymore is a pain in the hiney... Other than that it's ok, it's simple enough.

1 I scored it 1 (Long time use) because since the earlier versions it really hasnt come up to bat too well. It has become problem-matic and sometimes just will not run (under Gnome) If by instlling KDE as well you might have some stability?

4 I like Amarok because it really shows how much work was put into it. That's also part of the issue with it lately, because it got increasingly complex and some people will consider that a draw-back. However, we must give credit to the developers and trust they will tweak this program until it will please more people. :).

2 Reviewing version 2.3 - Amarok is a very confusing software program for this ex-Winamp user who likes simplicity. The software seems to come pre-loaded with 'features' that have been merged together without considering the overall look and feel of the software. I am currently using Exaile and find it to have a much superior interface.
