gwenview
"Unpgraded to mint 21 and that comes with Image Viewer (Xviewer) but missing many functions in this (crop, flip, mirror, red-eye etc etc), so added this and back to normal"

extundelete
"Included help is rubbish and miss-indicates the procedure, error messages are no help either. To recover a directory example should be: sudo extundelete --restore-directory /media/user/RESTORE/ /dev/sde1 where /media/user/RESTORE/ is the location for restored files and /dev/sde1 is the location to be restored, which must also be unmounted."

amarok
"Don't like it, slow to start, hard to quit, difficult to control basically needs a full re-write. I use VLC, that should be the default player, not this."

bluez
"Caused me no end of hastle, auto-assigns device type, usually selecting the wrong type causing connections to fail, no option to correct. Also would auto-pair any devices in range, something I definetly don't want! Disabled and replaced with blueman to fix."
1
blueman
"Had trouble with the default bluetooth manager in KDE 18, devices would be paired but failt to connect/setup as the wrong device type was auto-assigned and no option is proveded to change that, in Blueman you assign device type during the initial pairing operation which avoids the issue. The interface is rather clunky and takes a while to work out how to use it, also removing devices often fails!! But overall it works, so well done."

partitionmanager
"Buggy, don't use. Go for Gparted instead."
1
parted
"Bad, has bugs, such as if you remove a drive then attach another this program treats the new as if it is the original unless the program is re-started. (refresh don't work). NEVER trust partitioning tools with bugs, especially as bad as this one. Use gparted"

knotes
"Awful, bundled with KDE and even if you un-install it its still there messing up your desktop, the author should be ashamed!!"
