Heroic is an Open Source Games Launcher. Right now it supports launching games from the
Epic Games Store using Legendary, GOG Games using our custom implementation with gogdl
and Amazon Games using Nile.
Main Features:
Current Limitations on the Flatpak:
I tested it with Epic Games and it runs really well it's extremely user-friendly and clean.
Trata-se de um gerenciador bem competente, ele é útil assim como o Lutris (arrisco dizer que é até mais fácil de utilizar). Jogos oficiais e "barbas negras" rodam sem problema.. enfim, viva o Linux e viva a liberdade!
Heroic Games Launcher is undoubtedly one of the best programs you can install if you play games on Linux. It's free, open source, and allows easy access to your Epic Games, GOG, and even Amazon Games libraries from a single application.
5 of 5! Was waiting for GOG Galaxy until I installed Heroic!! What an amazing app to manage and install GOG games
Works great especially for GOG and Epic. Heroic is a great launcher and constantly improving. Especially useful due to good Proton managment, but also has quite important features like synchronization of savegames and total playtime to those services.
Pretty good overall, and is really easy to access and change WINE/Proton related settings, which makes it run lots of games easily
Works great!! I thought when I switched to Linux that my Epic Games library was basically cooked. With Heroic, it's just as easy as it is in Windows. I was able to get Rocket League up in running with no extra configuration required!
Made the move from 11 to LM in 2025. Heroic works flawlessly compared to the GOG Galaxy app, linking games to Steam is a piece of cake, and the built-in Winetricks is a godsend. One or two of my games are borked, but that's a Windows-to-Linux issue, not an interface issue.
Perfect! Everything worked right out of the box! Just remember to dowload Proton-GE using the built-in Wine Manager.
I've used it for Epic and GoG games for a bit over a year. It's been hit and miss and any Windows game running, until recently I can't get much of anything to run. I tried about 10 non-Linux games, and I could only get Cursader No Remorse and PC Building Simulator running. Much of the others I've run before through Heroic and don't want to run now. Actual Linux version of games through GoG seem fine. If you want to play Windows games in Linux, you'd best just go with Steam.
Perfect tool to centralize all these launchers and services. Includes different versions of compatibility tools for games made for Windows.
Had to find some answers on the Heroic Games Discord to get things running properly, but now I've been able to launch 90% of the games I've tried. Some of the games that didn't launch through Heroic, work when launching them from Steam as a non-steam game.
Worked for a while then when i tried to play ARK on epic it kept loading until the ram was full and crashed. Can't play again..
I love the way the software actually looks. It feels modern and all of the options *should* make it a great solution. Unfortunately, every time I try this software, and I have tried it multiple times over the last year -- something is broken. When I check on the bugs, these things take quite some time to fix. The problem is, these bugs are not minor annoyances but usually break the functionality of the software. The most recent bug doesnt allow all of the GOG library to load and many show as uninstallable. I got tired of fighting with this and just use bottles for GOG now.
Excelente lançador de jogos. Graças a ele eu consegui jogar exclusivos da Epic Games com muita facilidade. Também é notável que teve uma excelente evolução no último ano. Parabéns aos envolvidos no projeto!
