It works, but it takes between 700MB to a full GB.

It works, but honestly the UI is not great at all. It's broken half the time. I would reccomend ZapZap over this 100%.

4 because this is within half an hour of installing it. But It really does just work and linking to the account on my phone with a QR code was it. Really! I'll come back to this with a more considered review when I've been using it for a while.

Linking the account worked flawlessly and everything works as expected. Only downside is that the cursor icons are changed inside the app for some reason, but that's just a graphical thing, and sometimes it has some minor lag.

Unable to link account. Gets stuck on 'loading your chats' for yonks then errors due to a sync error. Have reinstalled andtested with QR code and phone number.

It's hard to work with Whatsapp API's, and this thing works well enough. Occasional glitches, but nothing major at all. Biggest annoyance is that it sometimes takes over desktop notifications, and opens when I wanted to open another thing. But, rarely.

Shows messages but doesn't work at all. Will hang on messages that are infact send, but it will just not get them.Doesn't send messages.

i used this for a while. but it stopped working and then days later i had to relink my device. also it forced me to use the light theme for no reason

Works just like the Windows Application, runs without problems, only small downside for me is that it first starts with the light theme. But since that was easily fixable i still rate 5 stars.

Whatsie runs smoothly on my ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 with Linux Mint 22.1. The app is responsive and updates quickly. I was surprised to see that it uses about 10–15% CPU even when idle, but this hasn’t caused any issues for me so far. Overall, I’m satisfied with its performance and reliability.

initially worked well, but now stuck on loading messages 100% (tried to remove + reinstall the flatpack, but it's still stuck.

It only works once. After first pairing and setup, it never runs again .. it hangs at startup loading messages. After reinstallation it can run once again.

No longer starts. The package containing “/app/bin/whatsie” could not be found. Error even after reinstallation !

Works nice on LinuxMint 22.1 (ThinkPad P53 Hybrid GPU), but i had to search for another application because unfortunatly Whatsie takes a lot of cpu usage !
