Double Commander is a cross platform open source file manager with two panels side by side. It is inspired by Total Commander and features some new ideas.

Support for RAR archives can be enabled by installing the libunrar5 package from non-free.

This package contains the GTK2 user interface.

Absolutely my favorite file manager! Looks great, runs smooth and fast. One of the most important daily drivers. Makes directory and file work so much easier. Also, you can download newer releases from their website. Works on both windows and linux.

Too quick with review, it cannot copy coplete webpages or Linux sreenshots due to linux file names. This makes it useless to me :-(

Probably best file commancer for Linux ... but why is so obsolete. Recent version is 0.9.7 and it is far more better than 0.8.2

An excellent classic 2 panel file manager. As others already said it is Total Comander for linux. It is so good that I use this in Windows too.
