Played audio files with no issues, but wouldnt play any of the video files I have regardless of format. VLC had no issues with the same files, locally or over the NAS. Kind of disappointed that the embedded media player in LM 18.1 KDE came broken "out of the box".

runs buggy with mp4 at all. not so good.

plays only audio of video files I know it is codec related but I could not find any info on how to repair

Even though I use gnome, it still runs perfectly. High quality sound and video.
