Eog or the Eye of GNOME is a simple graphics viewer for the GNOME desktop which uses the gdk-pixbuf library. It can deal with large images, and zoom and scroll with constant memory usage. Its goals are simplicity and standards compliance.

Perfect! Running on Mint 17.1 Rebbeca. Has all the features for sorting and viewing; NOT OVERDONE, and everything just works. A fine peice of programming!

Es demasiado lento

Fast, but so basic and Spartan that the Spartans left for other apps which feature features. Useful for a quick browse, not much more.

Kétségtelenül jó képnéző. UI és megjelenítés gyorsasága/minősége tekintetében a legjobb. Sajna egyszerű mint a bot.

Very slow in the most basic scenario of viewing a sequence of photos. Seems like it doesn't prefetch.

The best!

Like it, but don't need it: this is a fast, lightweight, but just image viewer, not thumbnails viewer.

installed to mint 11LXDE, does not appear in menus. Started from terminal, returns many errors: "(eog:13103): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: g_app_info_equal: assertion `G_IS_APP_INFO (appinfo1)' failed", but works fine.
