Running on Linux Mint 17.2 x64 Cinnamon 2.8 - Some problems with the images reendition. Oooops... Just crashed :(
I installed on Linux Mint 17 (the laptop is 11 year old ASUS W1000 with 2GB RAM) and is running perfect.
You all need to stop making it so hard to post! 4th try - I had to install new graphics card to get Google Earth to work. Great program but needs to cut the nonsense with the high end grapics.
Works fine and is (now) compatible with Linux Mint 17(.1), but the application crashes sometime if you have bad hardware.
Both the website install and the Software Manager version crash on my min 17.1 x64.
Works fine for me on Mint 17 x64, when installed via .deb on GoogleEarth website.
Installed successfully but crashed after a few seconds (Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon 64-bit ; Version 2.2.13 ; Kernel 3.13.0-24-generic)
This wonderful software works very well on 64 bit systems. I also had crash problems on a radeon HD system, but note that the i386 version works very well on the more recent chip architectures (provided in the Cinnamon 17 Mint distribution), presumably with all the features. Please avoid condemning the whole google-earth software for this issue which will most likely be solved some beautiful day in the future....
