GPHPEdit is a GNOME editor that is dedicated to editing PHP files and other supporting files, like HTML/CSS. It has support for drop-down function lists, hints showing parameters, and syntax highlighting.

Does what it says on the tin. This is brilliant for PHP scripts due to the syntax checking and colouration. Can easily be forced to show HTML syntax in a .PHP files so it's possible to work on scripts contained within HTML and the HTML container very easily. Does not do javascript, as somone pointed out, but then I think there's a clue in thename of the program.

nice class and functions browsing but cannot edit .js files, cannot as well open the folder browser in same time as the function/class browser, handle large project and remain light to start and to operate, cannot customize colors to a darker theme as not all text elements are customisable (look awfull), reload last files on startup (wich I like)
