GShutdown is a utility which allows you to schedule the shutdown or restart of your computer. With it you can simply and quickly choose the turn off time at either a specific time or after a countdown.

The graphical user interface uses Gtk+2.

Before uninstalling it, I just open gparted. I found that my second hardisk partiton NTFS format looked strange, no data, acctually it has 80 GB of my backups. When checking it using gparted, it hanged. I log out. Then after uninstalling the timergshutdown, the partition come to normal. Is timergshutdown a malware?

Nice app that does what it says. Very clear and comprehensive interface. Would be nice to have a shutdown after a process finishes option
