An utility to manage AppImages with ease! Gear lever will organize and manage AppImage files for you, generate desktop entries and app metadata, update apps in-place or keep multiple versions side-by-side.

Now this solves a problem I had with FontBase with it's frequent updates. Now the version numbers are removed, so it neatly binds to both the desktop and the menu. The app's name does not ring a bell, the description in the program manager is very poor on it's features. Great solution.

Eine einfache Möglichkeit zur Verwaltung von AppImages. Eigentlich sollte so etwas bereits in Linux Mint enthalten sein.

It does the basics of adding an appimage to your machine very well, but the automatic update function doesn't always work. I tried to use this app to update an appimage for Openshot (from version 3.2 to 3.4) using the instructions on the Gearlever website but nothing happened. I know that there is a newer version of Openshot available but Gearlever said that there were no updates available.

Really easy to use, and great update functionality. Like Obtainium for AppImages.

After using AppImageLauncher, this is a lot nicer of a replacement, so far haven't had any major issues and the design is pretty nice

After having used AppImageLauncher before, I find this app to be a great replacement. I am using multiple emulators which are often only available as AppImages and with this little gift here I can nicely fit them into my system! Tested on Linux Mint 22.

Sounds like a great program but I installed it - apparently with no problems - on Linux Mint 21 and it won't launch. No errror messages or anything. Just nothing.

Wonderful AppImage manager and updater. Really helped to take the labour out of manually creating menu entries and shortcuts.

The GUI is really intiutive and quite beautiful. The Update Management to allow for auto updates is amazing too. Previously I would have needed to add AppImageLauncher and AppImageUpdater, but this acts as a 2 in 1.
