Spectacle captures images of the screen. It can capture the whole screen, a specified region, an individual window, or only part of a window.

Does not work (Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon). Says "installed" but not found!

I was having problems with Kazam. For whatever reason it could not take a picture of Postman. Re-installed Spectacle and I am a happy developer again. One thing I really like about Spectacle is the screenshot to clipboard feature. So much easier than saving a PNG then hunting it down.

Being a long time user of former Ksnapshot (now KDE-spectacle), I would have rated it 5/5 if it were on a Plasma desktop... But the issue with Cinnamon has always been (at least since Mint 18.x) that feature "capture a region" does NOT work. Worse, it's impossible afterwards to get back to the Cinnamon desktop! (meaning the only solution is then Ctrl+Alt+Backspace). Too bad... I'm really hoping for a fix in the future!
