KDE's screen magnifier tool.

You can use KMagnifier to magnify a part of the screen just as you would use a lens to magnify a newspaper fine-print or a photograph. This application is useful for a variety of people: from researchers to artists to web-designers to people with low vision.

This package is part of the KDE accessibility module.

Works perfectly, provides a window with intuitive controls that allow you to zoom in on an arbitrary section of any connected display. Very useful. This was much better than Xmag, which is similar.

sure, it works well. but the majority of people don't need it, since most of us have eyes that work. this should be optional when a person boots linux for the first time
