Really good! I was looking for a screenshot program with a magnifying glass function which lets you take pixel perfect screenshots (similar to Greenshot on Windows). It works really well and I like the interface. Overall it's a joy to use and better than all the other programs I've tested.

This is my favorite snipping tool I've found. Feature rich and intuitive.

I don't like that by default it minimizes instead of closing when pressing the close button!

This is very much like an early SnagIt! Windows app if anyone is familiar with that as it's got pointer options, multi-second delay options, allows for actual wording in your choice of locations and just over all a much better option then what you get with the SnipIt tool in Windows 10 and Win 11. This is exactly what I was looking for because of support reasons.

This is great and has many of the features I'm used to in Snagit on Windows.

Love it. Coming from Greenshot on Windows and it's a seamless transition. Great work!

When the problems with Shutter started I tried ksnip and was amazed at how complete it is. Although it is less lightweight, it includes many options for editing screenshots. It has no option to capture dropdown menus, but it can automatically save, add your own icon library, and I have found it handy for tutorials.
