Came pre-installed on my version of Linux Mint and worked right "out of the box". This was a seamless transition as I had already been using LibreOffice apps before coming to Linux and I always recommended it highly even back then. The main apps in the suite I use are Writer and Impress and I like that they give me free cross compatibility to share files with collegues using the MS office suite file formats.
